The Greatest Britpop Band Revealed















Thousands of you voted and the results are in now for your top 20 Britpop bands of all time.

At first it looked as though Shed Seven were going to steal it thanks to their hardcore fanbase, but in the end two giants of the era took their lead in the battle for number one.

There’s plenty of surprises in there too – a certain Sheffield band are a bit further down the list than many would have hoped, while another Mod outfit have been propelled into the top five.

They may have lost out to Blur in the battle for number one in the summer of 1995, but with the phenomenally huge ‘What’s The Story (Morning Glory)?’, the Gallaghers were the ultimate winners.
