Oasis Album Preview From Q

2008 Preview

Oasis

The Pitch - Everything turned up to II. Noel Gallagher is living out his Burt Bacharach fantasies, talking up the successor to 2005's career - steadying Don't Believe The Truth as "colossal" and "60s sounding", complete with "100-piece orchestras and choirs". One song, I Wanna Live In A Dream In My Record Machine is a 10-minute psychedelic epic.

Producer Dave Sardy is back on board for sessions at London's Abbey Road studios. But while the band may be label-less, don't expect them to do a Radiohead - Liam Gallagher has said they'll give away the album "over my dead
body".

We Say - The last album was a return to form. Gallagher senior has his
confidence back.

ETA - May
