This ‘joiner’ image by Jill Furmanovsky was made over a period of months in late 2007 while Oasis were recording “Dig Out Your Soul”. It was shot in Studio 2 at Abbey Road and shows the recording progress over the weeks. It has been christened a ‘PHILM’ by Jill because the image is more like a film than a photo. The owner will be able to spend hours looking in corners for details: Noel wheeling a pram (his son Donovan had just been born), Liam running a violin bow over his top lip, sleeping on the couch, and singing in a rigged up tent; producer Dave Sardy surveying the scene from the top of the famous Studio 2 staircase, Andy at the keyboards, Gem on bass and the ghostly of lyrics of 'To Be Where There's Life' floating by. As if that were not enough this is a very special edition of just 20 copies, the first 4 prints having been signed by all four members of the band in order to raise money for charity.

Thanks very much to Oasis for signing this print and deciding on a charity, in this case Noel’s chosen charity is the Teenage Cancer Trust who will receive 70% of all money raised by this auction.
