Oasis And U2 To Play The 02 Arena At The Largest 'Top Of The Pops' Ever
More details on the Comic Relief 'Top Of The Pops' Special that I posted about the other day.
On BBC Two Friday 13 March 10pm, Comic Relief spreads the music love with a special one-off edition of Top Of The Pops.
This year, Comic Relief are aiming for two chart hits, with Gavin and Stacey stars Rob Brydon, Ruth Jones and Joanna Page releasing comedy single Barry Islands In The Stream, and girlband The Saturdays covering the Depeche Mode classic Just Can’t Get Enough.
Fearne Cotton will introduce both songs when she hosts the biggest ever Top of the Pops show in front of 15,000 people at London’s O2 Arena.
Joined by a host of comics to present an incredible live show, including performances from Oasis, U2 and, once again, Rob Brydon and Ruth Jones, giving another rendition of their Comic Relief single.
I have no details on how to get hold of tickets, but as soon as I know anything I will let you know.

I thought Oasis said they would never play the O2...
that's true..noel said that..!!
yeah that's true..noel said that last year!!
I also remember Noel saying they would never play Top Of The Pops again back in 2002. A year later, Liam and Gem shows up there and play Songbird and pissed off Noel. Hehe. So either Noel has a bad memory or he has changed his mind... I'm looking forward to it anyway. Falling Down is a great live track! :)
