Film for new single takes aim at monarchy
Oasis will debut the video for their new single 'Falling Down' at 5pm (GMT) today (February 3).
The video will be able to watch at MySpace.com/oasis from 5pm. However, fans can get see an exclusive selection of video stills now at NME.COM/photos now.
The clip will also be shown on Channel 4 at 11.35pm (GMT).
The video was directed by Wiz, who as well as the Gallaghers has made videos for Massive Attack and Primal Scream.
The 'Falling Down' promo mocks the British monarchy, cutting real footage of Prince Charles with footage showing the double life of a would-be royal.
However a spokesperson for band explained that "the video is director Wiz’s vision and is not directly related to the song".
They added: "Only Wiz knows what the story is but themes around fame, celebrity and secret lives are clearly part of his inspiration."
