U2 Pay Tribute To Oasis At Wembley Stadium

It's tricky not to drop names when you've been to a U2 gig in an enclosure for the bands' pals.

Noel Gallagher, Richard Curtis, Roman Abramovich, Will Champion from Coldplay, Brian Eno and Lars Ulrich from Metallica stood shoulder to shoulder at the 360 Tour's opening night at Wembley - with a Scotsman from The Sun in the middle.

U2 proved they are the best stadium act in the world last night with a note-perfect performance.


Bono paid tribute to Oasis with a few lines of Acquiesce which was greeted with rapturous applause.

Other highlights included Elevation, City Of Blinding Lights, Walk On, Streets Have No Name and the climax, With Or Without You.
