Liam Gallagher has said winning the BRIT award for Album Of Thirty Years would be a good way to say goodbye to Oasis.
The band is up for the award against acts such as Keane, Coldplay, Duffy, Phil Collins and Travis.
Gallagher, 37, said: 'It would close the Oasis thing for me if we won it. I'd thank the fans. It would be a nice thing.'
He added: 'I want people to vote for us, for the best album of the last 30 years. I want to go. I want a night out. When we got the outstanding achievement award, I stayed backstage.'
