For an up and coming documentary celebrating 18 years of Oasis, we want to hear your stories of the moments that defined your experience as a fan…
Whether it was that faithful night at Knebworth where you met your wife to the sound of Definitely Maybe, or how you were one of the first to see the potential behind the phenomenon after listening to Supersonic at an early gig that changed your life. We want to know how the key moments in your life were played out to a soundtrack of Oasis songs that have resonated in your head ever since…
We’re hoping to tell the 18 years story of Oasis from the fans perspective, so we’d like to hear your stories from any point in Oasis’ career so far upto and including the present day. Each story will ideally relate to your experience of a certain song and how it came to mean something significant for your own very personal reason. Stories can be big and small, happy or sad, emotional, inspiring, incredible or hilarious… but above all personal and referring to an experience that’s unique to you. Ideally we’re looking for stories we can get our teeth into: locations we can revisit; the story of an obsession that has persisted to this day; of how your family has come to be defined by Oasis… Stories we can explore in more than simply one line of dialogue…
A number of successful stories will be invited to take part in the film, which might for example involve revisiting Knebworth, or traveling back to relive the holiday of a lifetime that you’ll forever associate with Champagne Supernova…
Anyone interested should contact Pulse Films – sending through contact details and a summary of your story to oasis@pulsefilms.co.uk
