Pretty Green Store Set To Hit The Right Note

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher is set to bring his own brand of designer clothing to the streets of Manchester.

The musician is opening a new boutique dedicated to his Pretty Green fashion label on King Street.

It follows the success of his first clothing store in London’ s Carnaby Street, which opened in August.

Pretty Green features polo shirts, jeans and parka coats popularised by the Burnage Britpop legend.

Mr Gallagher said: "Manchester is where I was born and to be opening a Pretty Green store here is an absolute privilege."

The store, at 81 King Street, will feature items from the fashion firm’s Green Label and Black Label collections for this autumn and winter.

It features iconic photographs of Liam Gallagher in Brighton as well as Pretty Green paisley wallpaper.

It will also feature a space where live bands and DJs can perform. Mr Gallagher is expected to personally open the store on Wednesday.

Primal Scream and former Stone Roses bassist Mani will do a DJ set for the opening.

The preview launch times on Wednesday 8th December 2010 will be as follows:
Manchester – 12pm Mid-Day
Glasgow – 3pm
