We want to know your ultimate Manc anthem... Tell us!

As you know, March 2011 marks the fifth birthday of Xfm Manchester. To mark this auspicious occasion, we want to name Xfm's Greatest Manchester Song Of All Time. That tune that sums up all the talent, passion and fantastic attitude of the rainy city.

What do you think? Should it be Oasis? The Stone Roses? Joy Division? Elbow? Doves? Inspiral Carpets? It's a toughie.

We'll give you the whole of the month of March and we will rundown the ultimate Manchester chart between 3pm and 6pm on Sunday April 3rd with contributions from some of the biggest names in Manchester music.

Here are some ground rules:

You can pick three tunes to make it a bit easier for you to nail it down.
They must have received airplay on Xfm at some point (ie, no Take That).
They must be recorded by a band who come from the Manchester City Region, as laid down in 2004 here
Which means, The Verve and The Charlatans count.
