Liam Gallagher Dedicates Song To Noel At Spanish Festival

Liam Gallagher hit back at brother and former Oasis bandmate Noel during Beady Eye's set at Spain's Bilbao BBK last night (July 7), dedicating a song to his estranged brother.

After playing 'The Roller' Liam announced: "This is for the one and only Noel Gallagher", before launching into 'Bring The Light'.

'Bring The Light', which was the first track Beady Eye released, in November 2010, features confrontational lyrics such as, "I see no point in what you're thinking", and "I'm standing tall, well fucking tough."

The sarcastic dedication comes in a tumultuous week for the pair, which has seen Noel announce two solo albums and reveal why he quit Oasis. By way of response, Liam took to Twitter to post a one word response: "SHITBAG".

For the rest of the gig Liam was in gregarious mood, dedicating other songs to female members of the audience and signing autographs in the pit before leaving the stage.

The truth is Noel's really the one and only. The Music Magician and The Honest Knight of a Guitar. The best and the smartest man ever, whatever.

The truth is that Noel can't be the only truth accepted around internet and even Noel said it will be difficult without Liam. Says a lot... Liam's really the one and only. Noel used to be great and now plays the humble role... that can't be honest anymore.

Maybe Liam didn't listen to the entire press conference; his attention span probably isn't long enough. If he had, he'd have heard his brother acknowledge that he's going to find it tougher going without him. And he'd have heard him acknowledge his regrets over the break up in the band, and that he wishes he hadn't have reacted the way he did. In light of Noel's words and demeanor, the "shitbag" comment sounds particularly pointless and cruel.
