The former Oasis rocker has recorded two albums, and decided to release the more traditional sounding 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' first as he felt the other record - which was made with the experimental electronic producers - would be too much of a departure for his fans.
Explaining why he didn't release his dance-influenced record first, Noel said: "I thought it would f**k people's heads up too much."
Four tracks appear on both albums, but in very different forms. Speaking about the work Amorphous Androgynous did on the song 'If I Had A Gun', Noel told Time magazine: "They've not destroyed it, but demolished it and put it back together again."
Although he has taken a departure on one album, 'The Death of You and Me' assures fans that his High Flying Birds project will have plenty of tracks which will please his fans.
He said: "I can't decide how many it sells. If you like what I do, there's lots on there for you to like, but also some stuff that you wouldn't expect.
"And if you don't like what I do, believe you me there's enough on there for you to hate."
