Noel Gallagher: 'Liam Will Sue Me if I Mention Him'

Noel Gallagher has insisted that he cannot mention his brother's name for fear of being sued.

The singer joked during an interview with NME that if he speaks about Liam Gallagher, the former Oasis frontman will take legal action against him.

Going further, Noel said that Liam would sue the interviewer, the camera man and the viewer if he mentioned him.

He concluded: "So bearing that in mind I'd like to say, 'no comment'."

Noel recently claimed that modern rock 'n' roll is "f**king s**t", but maintained that the genre "will never die".

The songwriter's debut solo album Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will be released in the UK on October 17.
