Noel Gallagher has been talking about the first time he heard Oasis' debut single Supersonic on the radio.
He told Rolling Stone (Canada) "We got a call that “Supersonic” was going to be played on [BBC] Radio 1 in 1994. It was the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me. They said our band's name, the band that we’d been in for three years that was going fucking nowhere. I sat there, like, “Wow. Well, this is it. Where the fuck is my private airplane? Someone go and get me a fucking pet chimp, now!”
