Noel Gallagher has been speaking about his fondest memories of his time in Oasis.

When Questioned by the Rolling Stone "What are your fondest memories of Oasis?" Noel replied "Ironically, the best period in the band, between '97 and '99. coincided with the worst musical period. We were touring behind Be Here Now - not my best work - but I've got to say, the fucking tour was incredible. Fuck me! I never drank and took so many drugs as I did on the first night."

When questioned on what drugs he was taking? he responded "All of ‘em. We were living the fucking life. When I got into my thirties, I realized, “This is bullshit.” and I quit. Then the music came back."
