Beady Eye's North American Tour Arrives In Los Angeles

Liam Gallagher dedicated a song to 'Scientologist weirdos' at Beady Eye’s show last night (December 3) at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.

Playing in the city with the largest concentration Scientologists anywhere in the world, Gallagher made the dig before 'Bring The Light'.

Gallagher asked the crowd: "Do we have any Scientologists in the house tonight?" Following cheers, the former Oasis frontman said: "Some? Well this for them weirdos."

In a green parka jacket and paisley scarf, Gallagher dedicated a number of other songs throughout the evening, saying 'Man of Misery' was for the fan "wearing Pretty Green down the front", referring to his own clothing line. He also said the band's final song, their cover of World of Twist’s 1991 single 'Sons of the Stage' was "for the Manchester posse".

While playing their last track, Gallagher addressed a heckler in the audience, saying "it’s not a good look telling someone to fuck off when they look like Mr Bean," before going down into the photo pit and shaking hands with fans.

Liam Gallagher recently confirmed that Beady Eye will definitely be playing Oasis songs during their live shows next year. The move follows his brother Noel's decision to play tracks by their former band on his solo tour.

He told LA Weekly: "It takes balls to go onstage and not play Oasis songs. I don't miss those songs yet, but we're definitely going to play them on the next tour".

Beady Eye continue their North American tour with a show tomorrow (December 5) at Minneapolis First Avenue and they head to New York's Terminal 5 on December 9.

Beady Eye played:

'Yellow Tail'
'Four Letter Word'
'Beatles and Stones'
'Millionaire'
'Two of a Kind'
'For Anyone'
'Three Ring Circus'
'The Roller'
'In the Bubble With a Bullet'
